Bee pollen contains over 250 biologically-active components. When compared to any other food, it contains a higher percentage of all necessary nutrients. It is richer in proteins than any animal source and contains more amino acids than beef, eggs or cheese of equal weight.

In addition to protein, bee pollen provides more than a dozen vitamins, minerals, enzymes, fatty acids and carbohydrates.  

We recommend refrigeration for a longer shelf-life, which is estimated at to be anywhere from 6 months to a year. That being said, the flavor profile may be enhanced when consumed at room temperature.
